HOW CAN WE HELP?

REGISTRATION

You can look for open registration around the end of August. You can always check the site if it opens earlier.

Go to the group registration page and register yourself as an attendee when you register your group.

Yes, by going back into your registration email and changing which workshop you want to attend. We will update the changes for you.

Online credit card payments are possible on the web page for registration. Checks can be mailed to the Office of Faith Formation Conference, One Peter Yorke Way, San Francisco, CA 94109 with a copy of your invoice.

If you register before October 18th the registration fee is $25 per person. After the 18 the fee is $35 per person.

This is not for children so it would be best not to bring them. It can be a distraction as people are in their workshops.

Lunches will not be available for purchase on the day of the event. Make sure you pre-order your lunch.

LOCATION

There is no parking fee for the Faith Formation Conference at St. Matthew. We do ask that you carpool if possible to allow parking for everyone.

There are multiple hotels near to St. Matthew and the SF Airport Hotels are also close. To get the best pricing look on the website for “hotels near St, Matthew Church - San Mateo” We do not have a convention hotel with convention pricing.

EXHIBITORS & SPONSORS

There will be a multiply group of exhibitors and resources available for purchase. All are asked to visit our exhibitors and support them during the conference.

SPEAKERS AND WORKSHOPS

We will not be taping workshops for the conference.

SCHEDULE

We begin with registration and exhibit space open at 8:00 AM. You can get your packets at this time as well as register if you have not done so. Coffee and breakfast items will also be available. The day ends at 4:00 PM with the last workshops.

Talitha Koum meaning "Rise Up Little Girl" is a beautiful scripture story for each of us today. Sr. Nodelyn Abayan, SSS has a wonderful reflection piece under the “Talitha Koum” section of the webpage. You can use it for reflection for yourself or with a group.

Yes, you can register the morning of the event. Registration opens at 8:00 AM. We do encourage people to register early since workshops are limited in numbers in the room.

There are no refunds for the event after October 25th.

If the event is canceled the Office of Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of San Francisco will be sending refund checks to you.

Yes, you can pay by check and mail to the Office of Faith Formation Conference, One Peter Yorke Way, San Francisco, CA 94109 or asked to be billed and the office will bill you.

All of the conference site is accessible. Depending on dietary needs we do have a variety of sandwiches and salads to order. You are welcome to bring your own food needs for the day.

The day is casual but respectful of gathering together as Catholics.

AT THE EVENT

There is adequate parking at St. Matthew’s and parking guides will be on site to help with parking. We do encourage people to carpool if at all possible.

We do not have a preferred hotel. There are bus lines on El Camino that stop in front of St. Matthew Parish.

As you enter the parish site there will be plenty of signage and people to direct you to the check-in.

Yes, you may. We do encourage you to pre-register so you get the workshops that you would like to attend.

The keynote is in the church and seasons and the exhibit hall will be located on the map you will receive upon coming. There will be guides to help you with directions as well as wonderful signage.
